Dirty Heads Rocked It!! but Matisyahu?
Based on the Dirty Heads, I would give this review a 5-star rating. They captivated the crowd, opened with a bang, and had me jumping, dancing, and singing along to every song. The energy died with them, though, as we had to wait almost an hour for Kany Garcia to even get the stage set. I thought it was odd that the Dirty Heads didn't perform any of their songs with Kany Garcia, and it was even weirder when Kany Garcia finally came on stage with big sunglasses waving his arms as over-amplified bass and vocals played over the speakers. We ended up leaving early as the lyrics were very hard to understand, it just wasn't the same Kany Garcia we came to see. Maybe it's just me, but I imagined the "Live at Stubb's" enlightened character whose songs were more inspirational and uplifting.
